Donating to CD2
At the end of the day, money does count. To elect Democrats, we
have to be able to get the word out, leaflet, create ads, hire staff,
do research, and cover the costs of campaigning.
Your donation is completely
refundable (up to $50 per individual or $100
per family).
It is a very simple process:
-

It begins with

We will send you a receipt and a PCR form for the Political
Contribution Refund Program. It's an easy way to help the DFL and it's
free.
Anyone who is registered to vote or eligible to vote in Minnesota is
eligible to apply for a refund of up to $50 per eligible person per
year ($100 per couple). You can give Congressional District 2-DFL $50,
and it doesn't cost you anything! If you write a check to CD2-DFL, we
will give you a receipt. You send that receipt to the Minnesota
Department of Revenue with a form, and they refund your money up to $50
per person per year. You can file for this refund immediately -
you don't have to wait for tax time. To apply a contributor
must:
1. Get a receipt (Form EP-3) from the political party or candidate to
whom the contribution was made (we will send this to you when we
receive a contribution).
2. Fill out Form PCR (we
will send this form with your receipt!)
3. Attach the EP-3 to the PCR. (If you contribute amounts smaller than
$50, you can get multiple receipts but you must file them together.)
4. Mail to: Minnesota Department of Revenue
