DFL Budget before submitting it to the State
Executive Committee.

State Party Commissions
The State Party has three on going commissions that meet
regularly: Constitution and Bylaws, Affirmative Action, and
Platform and Issue. Each commission is comprised of two
Delegates and two Alternates that are elected from each
Congressional District. They serve two year terms.
Constitution and Bylaws
This commission, edits and manages the Constitution for
the State Party, as well as the Caucus and Convention
Call, and the constitutions of subordinate DFL
organization (such as the constituency caucuses and
county units).

Affirmative Action Commission
This commission helps prepare the affirmative action plan
for the State Party, as well as the affirmative action
plan for the National Delegate Selection Plan. They also
assist the State AAO in trainings and workshops for
district AAOs and arrange accommodations for persons
with disabilities.
