Join a
rapid-response team to hold Republicans's
accountable
If you are a committed DFLer who can
devote time and be a reliable member of one of the important communications team,
please email the DFL at activism@dfl.org.
Let them know you want to join our community team of Democratic
activists. Here are some other suggestions:
- Organize
a group of people in your area who can use the
media (newspapers, television, radio, and other resources) to
monitor GOP activities especially the coming and goings of
Republicans. On an ongoing basis, email the
DFL with this information and any details (who, what, why, when, where).
- Contact
your your local DFL chair.
If you don't know who this is go to www.dfl.org,
click under 'Get Invloved: Contact your local DFL', fill out the form
to be sent their local contact information.
- Get three more people
to sign up to be part of the team in your area. Email
their full name, address, emails and telephone numbers to the DFL.
- Sign up for the CD2 list servers.
CD2 has two list servers, CD2 list and CD2 announce list. You can
subscribe to either by sending an email to: subscribeCD2@dflcd2.org. CD2
list is un-moderated and open to all Democrats. CD2-announce list is
moderated and for official CD2 announcements such as meetings.
Subscribe
to both or either.
Become a CD2 Grassroots Organizer!
As a grassroots organization,
we seek your involvement on political issues at all levels.
Particularly, we believe that we must focus on local
issues to build the party in the manner we originally intended. We
need more messengers to step up and passionately lead the charge in
changing our democracy for the better. Please check our Issues/Information link for information on
LTE. The Second Congressional District has several working 'Task
Teams'. Any Democrat is welcomed to join one or more of these teams
(you do not have to be a CD2 representative). Current teams are:
- Affirmative Action, Party Building, Outreach,
Community Identification, Community Service Projects
- Fundraising, Finance, Budget Planning
- Event Planning, Socials
- Campaigns, Elections, Candidate
